Western educates new employees with extensive video training in conjunction with the issuance of our comprehensive field personnel policy handbook and Tecta America’s Pocket Guide to Safety. Video training includes important safety issues related to fall protection, hazard communication, material handling and roofing and sheet metal specific hazard protection. Employees are given basic roof related safety equipment: hard hats, safety glasses and gloves; in addition to job specific safety equipment as required.

Western insists on a constant pursuit of safety to ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance. Most important is the safety of our work force, other trades and owner employees. Periodic company meetings provide a forum for safety communication between management and all Western employees. In addition to routine jobsite visits our firm provides thorough on-site safety inspections are commonplace.
